DVD Authoring for Dancers

Description

Our unique dance DVD authoring service ensures the best quality for your dance videos. This product is ideal for:

· Ballet schools that wish to turn their self-produced videos into a quality product
· Dance companies and amateur groups wanting to showcase their work
· Dancers who would like to create a collection of their best performances to give to friends and family or to send out to companies

You can choose from a variety of packages, from standalone authoring (you get one copy and duplicate the DVD yourself) to the complete finished product including sleeve and label design, printing and DVD burning.

Terms and Conditions

Standalone authoring includes the production and burning of a single DVD*, with intro (if required), main menu, track menu and chapter selection. Customers will need to provide all video material either on memory sticks or separate DVDs (the cost of sending the material to us will need to be covered by the customer) and include clear instructions on which sections to include in or remove from the submitted material, the preferred order of the tracks and the track titles. Though we rectify our own mistakes free of charge, any mistakes in the finished product due to unclear or incorrect instructions from the customer will be rectified at an additional cost of £10 per re-authoring. Due to the nature of the product we are unable to issue refunds for the authoring work.

Label and sleeve design will be provided via email in high resolution formats (TIFF, JPG and PSD) ready for printing. We recommend printing labels on Neato glossy media for best results. Sleeves can be printed on any paper but high quality glossy photo paper will produce the best results. Due to the nature of the product we are unable to issue refunds for the design work.

For orders under 20 DVDs, label and sleeve printing is carried out on inkjet printers using high quality glossy paper. Such paper can get damaged if handled incorrectly or exposed to heat and liquids. We cannot issue refunds for printed material that has been damaged through careless handling by the customer or any third person.

* For orders over 20 DVDs, duplication is carried out by our partners Duplication Centre on high quality professional grade AAA rated DVD discs and printing is carried out on a high resolution state of the art RICOH digital press. Printed parts use the highest quality paper and highest weight in the industry

*Please note:

All our DVD burning is carried out on branded DVD-R media and does not contain regional restrictions or copy protection. DVD-R media are compatible with most DVD players, please check that your player is able to play DVD-R discs before placing your order as we cannot issue a refund if non-faulty discs are not being read by your player. If you suspect any of our discs to be faulty, please return them to us. Once our tests confirm the fault, we will send a replacement free of charge. DVD-R media does not compare to injection-molded DVDs in terms of lifespan and will tend to deteriorate more quickly. We recommend you back-up your authored DVD on a computer’s hard drive. We keep copies of all authored DVDs and can provide replacements for damaged discs at a cost of £4.99 + £1.99 delivery (UK mainland) per disc.
